◆Showing Off with Exterior Illumination
Although North Korea still suffers from serious power shortages, only this reconstruction apartment area has interior lights on at night and even exterior walls illuminated. It was much brighter than Sinuiju located slightly downstream, clearly showing that electricity is being supplied preferentially. It was clearly aimed to show off the modern new apartments to the outside world.
