◆Lunch is Large Quantities of Corn Rice

Behind the new apartment complex, temporary barracks for soldiers mobilized for work remained. They still appear to be working on construction based from here. The roof is covered with vinyl sheets.

When lunchtime came, water and meals arrived at the embankment construction site. Without chairs or tables, the gathered soldiers squatted and began eating. Yellow food heaped in bowls is visible. This is corn rice made from grinding dried corn. They were eating it with soup and side dishes.

During the meal, a soldier is distributing additional soybean paste (red circle). The yellow container holds water, and soybean paste is dissolved in water in the red basin to make soup. The soldier at the far right was receiving soybean paste and distributing it to everyone.
