◆Farmers protesting as their portion of harvest is reduced to cover the loss of flood damage
Meanwhile, the agricultural fields were seriously damaged by the flood as well. The harvest brought the problem of distribution among farmers as the time to work for harvest begins. The reporter reports: “The farmers are strongly protesting the decision by the Collective Farm Management Committee which asked the farmers to accept the decreased portion of the harvest to help those who have the damaged fields by the flood. The farm itself doesn’t touch their food at all, but they try to shift the burden to the farmers only.
Even if the Party Committee of the Collective Farm tries to persuade the farmers and soften their complaints by saying ‘the burden of the victims should be shared by all of the members.’ But dissatisfaction of those who can’t accept the persuasion deepens.”
